IMPROVING OF THE EMPLOYMENT EFFICIENCY THROUGH MODERNIZATION OF THE COCOON PROCESSING ENTERPRISES IN NAMANGAN REGION

Introduction. Demand for silk raw materials, especially silk products is growing in the world market. In accordance to International Sericulture Commission, in recent years, about 153,000 tons of cocoon raw materials have been grown in the world. For instance, intensive cultivation of cocoons is mainly due to the Republic of China (104 thousand tons), India (29.2 thousand tons) as well as the third country Uzbekistan (21,4 tons). We think that the demand for silk products is expected to increase in the future according to the rapid growth of the world's population.
