Introduction. Livestock breeding is one of the leading sectors of agriculture in Uzbekistan, and it is of particular importance in providing the population with protein-rich meat and milk from the main food products. That is why relevant laws, decisions and decrees aimed at the development of this sector and wide use of available opportunities are being adopted. Decision PD-285 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 17, 2018 "On measures to further develop animal husbandry, coordinate activities and increase efficiency of the sector", October 18, 2017 "Measure to strengthen the feed base of livestock and fishery industries" № 845 was adopted [3, 4].
